Beetal goats are large-bodied with long, drooping ears and a build that shares some resemblance with Jamunapari, reflecting their shared regional ancestry — generally sturdy and well-muscled compared to smaller regional breeds.
Beetal offers a reasonable balance of meat yield and milk production, making it a practical choice for farmers who don’t want to commit fully to either a pure-meat or pure-dairy strategy, particularly in North Indian markets where the breed is already well established and recognised by local buyers.
